Hey, I saw your picture of the ghillie suit just on some grass and against the white building and I noticed some material you had on your suit which wasn't mentioned. It looked more solid. Is that matted burlap, or is it a cloth material? And also you suggested using netting, and you mentioned that sewing all the strands would be rediculous, but is putting down glue on the whole suit and simply sticking the strands on a bad idea? Or more simply what is the advantage to netting as opposed to the glue?

Hi, I'm kind of new at this myself so I'm not sure I am qualified to give advice, but the way I understand it, it is better to have netting so the burlap can be tied directly to the suit. That way if you need to change the colors or replace a damaged section you can untie it. also I believe if you would glue it to the uniform it may fall out eventually or tear out if hung up on a branch, log, jagged rock etc. I have used shoo goo to secure my netting to my first suit and am impressed with how fast and easily it went on. You can buy a very informative video called "the art of camouflage" that is a great help. I bought it from e-bay or amazon I can't remember which one. It was definitely worth the money. Hope that helped a little.

Woah! Cool, a response, honestly I was not expecting that, however, thanks for the advice. What you said about the netting makes sense, and also thanks for the tip on the video.
